Stardust Observatory in Baguio


onti lang nakakaalam sa baguio na merong STARDUST OBSERVATORY, kapag nga tinitignan nila yung images sa exhibits sa AMP nagtatanong sila sino si John Nassr? saan yung stardust observatory?
first time ko kasing umakyat ng baguio city kaya ngayon ko lang din nakita ng actual yung stardust observatory and nagkachance pangmakilala si Mr. John Nassr (IDOL KO!) John Nassr is an Astrophotographer, and ayun meron siyang N-16 which is 2nd largest telescope sa philippines! and ang stardust observatory ay nakatayo lang din sa bahay ni mr. nassr AWESOME noh! :D

all the equipment are designed and personalized by mr. nassr... actually yung stand ng scope niya i mean ung tripod we call it! eh nakaattouch talaga sa ground ng bahay niya para maiwasan ang paggalaw ang scope and yung scope DESIGN and CUSTOMIZE niya yan! sabi nga sa amin ni mr. nassr okay lang gumastos ng malaki kung ang QUALITY naman eh BEST yeah right right tama yun! kaya nga nung nameet ko siya grabe! sobrang gusto kong magone on one talk kami! hahaha para lang magask ng mga questions about astrophotography sa kanya!

ang Andromeda Mobile Planetarium from Baguio ay isang mobile planetarium kung saan ipropromote ang ASTRONOMY world sa Northern Region ng Pilipinas. merong 6meters (hindi ko na matandaan yung size nung dome) which is 50-80persons ang kasiya sa dome. ang Andromeda Mobile Planetarium was owned by Mr. and Mrs. Macario 



super awesome nga kapag nasa loob ka eh! dahil unang una parang 3D ang mararamdaman mo, aside sa planetarium meron ding mga exhibits ang AMP like Astronomy Images of John  Nassr and Meteorites from Allen Yu.

today February 19 2014 is the start of the National Astronomy Week 2014 of the RTU-Astronomy Society and the Department of Earth and Space Sciences of RTU.

here are the activities of the NAW2014 by RTU-AstroSoc and DESS

February 19 2014 FREE PUBLIC VIEWING and EXHIBITS
Solar Observation 11am-1pm at RTU quad.
Exhibits and Film Showing 1pm-6pm at RND 2nd flr
Night Observation 6pm-8pm at RTU quad.


February 20-22 2014 First National Astronomy Convention
Feb 20-21 Convention
Feb 22 Manila Planetarium (Closing of NAW2014)
