I captured something sa baba ng Moon, i dont know if its a Balloon or a Satellite... ang hirap iidentify ng object unang una malayo ang gamit ko lang at that time is Camera and a 55-250mm lens ko wala akong telescope or something and nakalimutan ko pang iset sa long exposure ung camera sayang pero at least nakunan ko... pls help lang po sa pagidentify nung white thing sa baba ng Moon thanks! ^_^

April 2013 Lunar Images

Lunar Images

share ko lang ang lunar images ko! :)

Moon

January 1-2 2013

See the Difference?

Christmas Night Sky

Christmas day!

Astronomy Photography at PAGASA Observatory

Astrophotography (December 11-12 2012)

Maganda talaga magastrophotography sa isang lugar na mataas ang place, at malayo sa mga buildings at light pollution ng Makati! nagastrophotography ako sa PAGASA Observatory during our Geminid Meteor Shower observation.

Space Junk or Satellite?

Unknown?

Most of us don't know kung ano nga ba meron doon sa video na nakuha namin nila Jonah Inguito and Jeroh Hiyastro during our overnight observation noong November 2012. Noong makita namin ulit si Sir  Bamm isa sa mga professor namin sa astronomy, pinaka kita namin yung video which is di niya rin malaman kung ano iyong nakunan namin, then Sir bamm called up Ms. Roch para mapakita yung video, then Ms. Roch also called for Sir Custer, this three persons can't event tell to us what it is? So nagoffer ng help is Sir bamm to check kung Satellite or Space junk ang nakunan namin. after 1 day, Sir bamm message me via facebook regarding about the video, he said na ang nasa video ay hindi Satellite, may possibility daw na Space Junk yun, pero sabi niya rin sa akin na almost a month na daw kasi ang video, puwede daw kasing magbago ang data ng mga Satellites. In short until now hindi namin masabi kung ano yung nasa video.

Night Sky at Balayan Batangas

Night Sky at Balayan Batangas

Penumbral Lunar Eclipse and Apogee Moon

Penumbral Eclipse and Apogee Moon November 28-29 2012

Bonding time pa kami ng family ko during observation of Penumbral Lunar Eclipse and nagkaroon din ng Public Viewing hahaha.

the Night Sky at RTU :D

Night Sky at RTU

Last November 6 2012 we decided to have an overnight observation at RTU, our main purpose is to took photos of the Moon, but we also try some deep sky objects and Jupiter. Sir Marigza is the hunter of the deep sky objects while us students also try to sketch and took photos of some celestial objects and constellation (night sky). We also enjoyed the taurid meteor shower! hehehe...

Phases of the Moon

Moon

The RTU Astronomy students who really like taking photos of celestial objects and the night sky, met Mr. Gerard Lazarus an Astronomy Enthusiast from Australia would like to experiment the different phases of the Moon. So some astronomy students like me and the professors participate and willing to help Mr. Gerard to his said experiment. As far as I know I started last saturday that was October 27 2012 even though I'm sick i still need to participate for the name of the RTU. I send first my sample if it is good or bad, me and Gerard started also having conversation and discuss the said project, until now we submit photos for the experiment.

October Night Sky

Night Sky

I've been busy last month, so I decided to update my blog this November. October is been very good for Stargazing and Astronomical events because of the clear skies that we experienced. Especially the Orionid meteor shower and the Hunter's Moon of the October. This October I used my DSLR camera for astrophotography but still I'm enhancing it, but I took some photos of the Orion Nebula (M42), this just mean that the winter triangle and winter constellations are very visible now. CLEAR SKIES is usual and the cold air is approaching. I always used now my telescope "Luna" for observation of the Moon and the planet Jupiter. Speaking of Jupiter, the planet is very visible to night sky together with the Taurus constellation. Winter constellation is very easy to memories because of the objects that are visible near to the constellation.

Here are some Photos of the Night Sky and some Celestial objects.
